VIP Syndrome
There are many factors to consider when a VIP patient needs medical care. Treatment of VIP patients can disrupt the care team, hospital administration, and other patients. Celebrities, politicians, and physician colleagues as patients can present challenges to the care team, including privacy concerns and insisting that caregivers fulfill lofty demands.
