Early Intervention for Psychotic Disorders

The articles in this issue of Psychiatric Annals reveal that although future prospects for early intervention in schizophrenia are good, there are still many challenges. The articles discuss interventions and services in the early stages of psychosis; treatment delay in the early course of schizophrenia and the duration of untreated psychosis; the Early Treatment and Intervention in Psychosis (TIPS) study; and how to intervene during the prodrome.
