The training program offers 1 or 2-year clinical fellowships designed to provide training in Psychosomatic Medicine and Psycho-Oncology. The first year emphasizes clinical care with fellows spending ten months at MSKCC and two months of required clinical rotations at NYPH/WCMC; the second year provides opportunities to train and participate in clinical research or to further develop clinical and administrative skills, and includes a 3 month elective rotation at NYPH/WCMC. When on weekend call, physician will be paid a stipend plus production RVUs (the more you work the more you earn). The hospital's inpatient unit is three years old.
